The Impact

Funds raised in this initiative will enable the area to secure nearly $9.5 Million in needed projects. Currently public funds have been set aside for $6,487,000 or 68 percent of the total. The private sector will be asked to invest $3,000,000 or 32 percent of the project totals.

The $9.5 Million set aside for economic development today will result in 7,500 jobs and an increased payroll of $173,700,000. For every dollar invested in economic development today, the Black Hills will receive $18.28 in increased annual revenue based on the increased payroll alone.
